MAA Goes on Attack Against NIMBYism on WJR – Frank Beckman

A couple weeks ago a representative of a local community group that opposes mining was interviewed by Frank Beckman on WJR 760 AM.  On Friday, May 17, 2019 MAA was offered the opportunity to respond.  During our response, MAA President Doug Needham stressed that Michigan is facing a shortage of access to sand and gravel across the state-- not just in one community-- and if laws aren’t changed the cost to fix our crumbling infrastructure will increase.
