MDOT Approves Special Provision for Electronic Ticketing System

Over the past year, MAA has been working with MDOT along with other industry partners to develop a Special Provision for Electronic Ticketing System.  This special provision is a permissive specification meaning that contractors must request to utilize e-ticketing on projects.  MDOT is encouraging each TSC to pilot between 1-3 projects during the 2022 construction season and work to gain experience with aggregates, HMA, and concrete.   
 
As part of FHWA’s Everyday Counts 6 initiative this special provision represents a significant milestone for MDOT and Michigan’s construction and materials supplier industry.
