Congratulations to MAA member Mid Michigan Materials on being awarded an MAA Environmental Award!
Mid-Michigan Materials operates multiple aggregate mining facilities throughout Michigan and implements stringent environmental training in all their locations.
As a result, Mid-Michigan Materials did not receive any environmental violations this year. As part of their thorough efforts, they use consultants to review and evaluate their environmental processes and conduct quarterly audits as well. The company also has a recycling program in place, as well as mine and reclamation plans that are updated annually.
Mid-Michigan Materials is dedicated to implementing Best Practice Management relating to dust and storm water management, as well secondary containment for materials.
Because of these impressive efforts, our association is proud to present an MAA Environmental Award to Mid-Michigan Materials. Thank you for working so hard to protect our environment and support our industry.
