Monroe County Road Commission issues first weight restriction of 2023 effective February 7, 2023 at 7:00 am

Monroe County Road Commission issued the following spring weight restriction bulletin
 
“Beginning TUESDAY, February 7, 2023 at 7:00 a.m. Seasonal Weight and Speed Restrictions will go into effect on Monroe County Road Commission jurisdiction roads pursuant to Public Act 300 of 1949 of the Michigan Vehicle Code.”

MAA has been informed that MDOT is continuing to monitor frost tubes and is expecting to impose weight restrictions in the near future.
