Tom Horkey receives MAA BOD Member Recognition Award
MAA Executive Director Doug Needham recently presented Rieth-Riley Construction’s Tom Horkey with the MAA BOD Member Recognition Award. The BOD Member Recognition Award was created to highlight those that have displayed involvement in the industry, making substantial contributions to its advancement through committed participation in committees.
Tom was nominated by his peers to receive this award due to his long-standing connection to the aggregates industry, as he has been a valued member of Rieth-Riley Construction since 2006, where he was tasked with establishing the Central Purchasing Division. Tom is also involved in various MAA committees. This consistent involvement has propelled him to becoming a respected figure in the industry, and the Michigan Aggregates Association would like to thank Tom for his commitment to Moving Michigan Forward.
