MDOT Releases Updated Procedures for Aggregate Inspection Manual - March 2025

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has released the updated Procedures for Aggregate Inspection manual, dated March 2025. This manual provides comprehensive guidance for the sampling, testing, and reporting of aggregate materials in accordance with MDOT standards.
 
Key updates to the 2025 edition include:

• Increased quality assurance (QA) testing frequencies for both prequalified and non-prequalified aggregate suppliers
• Expanded guidance for managing and inspecting mobile crusher operations
