Highlights from the 2025 MAA Summer Conference at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island

On behalf of the entire Michigan Aggregates Association, we would like to thank our speakers, event sponsors and all MAA members who contributed to making the 2025 MAA Summer Conference a memorable and informative event.  This year the conference took place at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island and was filled with various educational and social events that showcased the many fantastic attractions that make the island so iconic.
 
The various meetings that took place included a presentation about Mackinac Island: From National Park to State Treasure, Island Life, a Michigan political update, as well as an update from all of the MAA Committees, highlighting various items and issues being addressed on behalf of the association.
 
There were also fantastic networking opportunities on the famous Grand Hotel front porch, at the newly renovated Esther Williams pool, watercolor painting, group carriage and butterfly house tours, golfing the historic jewel, pool parties, karaoke singing, and a group bike ride.

Looking ahead, be sure to mark your calendar for next year's MAA Summer Conference! That event will take place July 16-19, 2026, at Crystal Mountain.
