MAA Members Headed to Capitol Hill for the 2025 NSSGA Legislative & Policy Forum
MAA, along with members Amrize, Carmeuse, and Superior Industries, visited Capitol Hill this week during the 2025 NSSGA Legislative & Policy Forum to advocate for critical infrastructure priorities. Our discussions with lawmakers focused on ensuring the Highway Trust Fund is adequately funded at current IIJA levels during the upcoming reauthorization in 2026. We also emphasized the importance of streamlining the permitting process so projects can move forward more efficiently and predictably.
We extend our sincere thanks to Congressman Jack Bergman, Congressman Tom Barrett, and Congresswoman Lisa McClain, as well as the offices of Senator Elissa Slotkin, Senator Gary Peters, Congresswoman Hailey Stevens, Congressman John James, Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet, and Congressman Bill Huizenga, for taking the time to meet with us and engage in thoughtful discussion on these critical issues.
