The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is offering free training to help companies submit their Annual Air Emissions Report. The Air Quality Division maintains annual emission reports for commercial, industrial, and governmental sources of air pollution in Michigan.
EGLE is hosting three-part webinar series that will be especially helpful for new users, while also offering useful insights for those seeking a refresher. Register for one, two, or all three of the sessions. A recording will be provided to registrants after each webinar concludes.
Air Emissions Reporting Training Part 1: Introduction to air emissions reporting

In this session, we cover why emissions reporting is required for some facilities, what the data is used for, and how to access your Annual Air Emissions Report in MiEnviro Portal. This session will also discuss the various resources available to the user and include information about how to navigate the system and what information is required.
Air Emissions Reporting Training Part 2: Completing the air emissions report

This webinar will include a brief synopsis of the Part 1 content; however, the focus will be on how to complete annual air emissions report. You'll learn how to accurately fill out the form, including selecting emission factors to properly calculate annual emissions. This will also cover how to submit your report to EGLE's Air Quality Division.
Air Emissions Reporting Training Part 3: Making changes and updates
January 15, 2026, 1:00 – 2:30 PM
This webinar will begin with a brief synopsis of the Part 2 content. Part 3 of the series will focus on how to make updates to your equipment form, if changes or updates are identified while filling out your emissions report. You’ll learn how to request an amendment to the equipment inventory and how to sync equipment changes to the Annual Emissions Report.
